
ALL CANDIDATES MEETING FORMAT
The All Candidates Meeting will be Wednesday, September 28th starting at 7:00pm sharp!

The event will be maximum two hours, and moderated by the Chamber of Commerce.

The Candidates will have an opening monologue.

Questions are recommended to be submitted in advance to the Chamber, to increase the likelihood of hearing them in public (due to time constraints)

Questions may be directed to Mayors, Council, School District Candidates, or All.

Questions may be asked of specific candidates.

All questions will be posted on this site.

Candidates will have the opportunity to supply written replies to the advance questions at the event and any information provided to the chamber will be posted on this website .

The PMCC reserves the right to edit questions in length and for language and content. Any form or bullying, abuse, or foul language will not be tolerated.

Voter Information
Requirements
In order to be eligible to vote locally as a resident or non-resident property elector, a person must:

Be a resident in the jurisdiction in which they intend to vote

Be 18 years of age or older when they register to vote, or 18 years or older on general voting day,
-
Be a Canadian citizen,
-
Have been a resident of B.C. for at least six months before they register to vote,
-
If they do not have a permeant address in the community they must have owned property in the jurisdiction in which they intend to vote for at least 30 days before they register to vote (non-resident), and
-
Not be disqualified under the Local Government Act, or any other enactment, or by law from voting in a local election
